Auckland Council is seeking a Specialist Advisor to shape and deliver youth and community outcomes across South Auckland.

You will provide expert strategic advice to local boards, build trusted relations with rangatahi and community partners, and design and evaluate youth-led programmes that reflect community aspirations and local board goals. Travel is required, and you will work with elected members to champion authentic engagement and positive change.

• Provide expert strategic advice to local boards on youth development and community development.

• Support authentic community and youth voice in decision-making and champion the integration and collaboration across council activities.
• Manage projects, reporting and investment to ensure transparent and impactful outcomes.
