Job summary

New Zealand Government, Public Sector Performance Group, seeks a Senior Advisor in Wellington to shape and drive public sector performance. You will provide strategic advice to senior leaders, including the Public Service Commissioner, and lead complex programmes that improve delivery for New Zealanders.

You will work with Central Agencies and Crown entities to drive performance improvements and support reform initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience providing strategic advice on complex issues with senior leaders.
• Ability to work with Ministers and senior public service executives.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic advice and lead complex work programmes to improve Public Sector performance.
• Lead annual chief executive performance review processes and contribute to reform efforts.
• Engage with Crown entities, boards and monitoring agencies to drive capability and performance.
