Job summary

As part of the governance and policy team, you’ll produce concise artefacts, support evaluation and reporting, and help publish public-facing resources.

Qualifications

• Sound understanding of government and public sector.
• Knowledge of machinery of government, ministerial servicing, cross-agency ways of working.
• Experience developing high-quality written, visual, and digital artefacts for diverse audiences.
• Strong project leadership and delivery skills for complex work programmes.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and relationship management abilities.
• Experience governing publication, QA, or related processes.
• Ability translating evidence or research into practical advice and recommendations.
• Demonstrated political acumen and sound judgement in complex environments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality advice, analysis, and recommendations to support strategic decision-making and programme delivery.
• Lead and coordinate projects and work programmes, ensuring delivery is well planned, collaborative, and outcomes-focused.
• Support performance monitoring, evaluation, reporting, and assurance activities.
• Produce artefacts including briefings, reports, presentations, guidance, and other resources for diverse audiences.
• Support governance and cross-agency coordination through secretariat functions and stakeholder engagement.
• Contribute to development, publication, and dissemination of key products and public-facing resources.
