We’re seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to join our Water Services - Delivery team as Stormwater Manager. This role is critical in managing Rotorua’s stormwater and site works operations, ensuring effective service delivery and emergency response 24/7.
You’ll lead the stormwater and reinstatement teams, oversee planned and reactive works, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with health and safety and quality standards. You’ll also liaise with contractors, stakeholders, and internal teams to deliver high-performing services that protect our community and environment.
The ideal candidate will have a relevant trade qualification (Level 4 or equivalent), a minimum of five years’ experience managing teams, and a strong background in stormwater operations. Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills are essential. Desirable certifications include Class 2 licence, WTR, and STMS.
