Job summary

Griffin's Snacks in New Zealand seeks a Stores Manager to lead our warehouse and palletising operations at our Wiri site. You will develop the Stores team, drive KPI performance, and collaborate with Supply Chain and Production to improve efficiency, safety, and compliance.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years’ warehouse leadership experience in manufacturing or FMCG, plus SAP/WMS knowledge and a focus on continuous improvement. Forklift operation certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ experience in warehouse/inventory leadership.
• Experience in manufacturing or FMCG environments.
• MPI-approved Transitional Facility compliance knowledge.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.
• Strong knowledge of inventory controls and SAP/WMS.
• Leadership with delegation, coaching and recognition.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Experience managing KPIs, budgets, and warehouse performance metrics.
• Licensed fork hoist operator.

Responsibilities

• Leading the Stores function and developing the team to meet business goals.
• Drive inventory and warehouse KPIs through effective planning and execution.
• Coach and develop Stores team members to achieve objectives.
• Maintain compliance with food safety, quality, health and safety standards.
• Ensure accurate inventory management and reconciliation with SAP and WMS records.
• Embed IWS and continuous improvement behaviours to reduce losses.
• Labour planning and budget management within Stores.
• Maintain robust stock counts and reporting aligned to Finance timelines.
• Manage site resources such as fork hoists, pallets, gas bottles and chemicals.
• Contribute to site leadership with a focus on safety and quality.
