Job summary

Foodstuffs South Island Limited in Christchurch is seeking a reliable Inwards Goods team member for our busy operations. You will handle goods receipt, maintain stock integrity, and support a safe, efficient warehouse environment while providing excellent customer service in-store.

The role requires current forklift OSH certification, the ability to lift up to 20 kg, and strong Organisation and teamwork skills.

We are a large Supermarket located in a competitive area, seeking an innovative and customer-focused team member to join our Inwards Goods team. If you are physically fit, hardworking. have excellent attention to detail and can think on your feet then we would like to meet you. We would prefer someone with previous experience in inwards goods or storeperson roles.

The key responsibilities of these positions include:

• Delivering exceptional customer service
• Maintaining a safe and tidy inwards goods area
• Implementation and maintenance of Food and Health and Safety requirements
• Leading team members
• Goods receipting
• Stocktaking
• Goods receipting

We are looking for the following attributes:

• Exceptional organisation and communication skills.
• Current Forklift OSH Certification and F endorsement.
• Physically fit and able to lift up to 20kg.
• Able to work in a demanding and high volume environment.
• Ability to work in a team.
• An understanding of work place safety and food safety requirements.

The available shifts are as follows:

• Tuesday 6.00am to 3.00pm
• Wednesday 6.00am to 3.00pm
• Thursday 6.00am to 3.00pm
• Friday 6.00am to 3.00pm
• Saturday 6.00am to 3.00pm
