Temperzone in Auckland is seeking a detail‑oriented warehouse operative to join our fast‑paced team. You’ll handle picking, packing, and stock control, using handheld scanners and SmartFreight to ship orders accurately and on time.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a warehouse or stores environment.
• Current Class 1 Driver Licence.
• Certifications for counterbalance forklift, reach forklift, and order picker.
• Proven experience operating both counterbalance and reach forklifts.
• Skilled picker/packer with strong RF scanning experience.
• Systems-driven and organised approach with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work safely, efficiently, and to high quality standards in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, and prepare customer and branch orders with accuracy and care.
• Use handheld scanners and warehouse systems to ship orders and update stock.
• Receive goods from Production, check them off, and put them into the correct warehouse locations.
• Prepare labels, consignment notes, and manifests using SmartFreight.
• Help load and stage goods for carriers, freight companies, and customer collections.
• Keep stock organised by following FIFO, 5S, and warehouse best practices.
• Maintain a safe work environment by following procedures and reporting hazards or incidents.
• Support general warehouse duties such as tidy-up tasks, export container loading, and yard maintenance.
