Overview

At Postie, we’re searching for a Store Manager to lead our Westport store in the Buller District. This is your chance to coach a dynamic team, connect with customers, and drive results in a retail environment that’s all about comfort, style, and affordability for Kiwi whānau.

Working 40 hours per week, you’ll inspire your team to deliver top-notch customer experiences while excelling in the operational side of the business.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and coach your team to engage with customers and drive sales.
  • Manage the operational needs of the store, including rostering, reading reports, and maintaining administrative efficiency.
  • Conduct performance discussions with team members, ensuring everyone’s on track and thriving.
  • Achieve sales targets and grow your store’s performance.
Qualifications
  • Experience as a Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager in a fast-paced, high-volume retail environment (preferably apparel).
  • Proven success in coaching and managing a team, creating an engaged and high-performing culture.
  • Confidence in having performance-related conversations with team members.
  • Structured administrative and organisational skills to keep your store running smoothly.
  • A track record of hitting sales targets and growing revenue.
