Job summary

EssilorLuxottica operates OPSM in Balclutha, NZ, seeking a Store Manager to lead a high-performing team in a dynamic eyewear retailer environment.

You will drive retail operations, team development, and exceptional customer experiences while managing stock, policies and performance metrics across the store, with training and ongoing development supported by global luxury eyewear brands.

Qualifications

• You are a sales leader with a proven track record of strong achievements within a KPI structure.
• Previous leadership experience, ideally in retail.
• Exceptional time management and organisational skills.
• Proven problem-solving ability and excellent relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Support, coach, and motivate your team to meet and exceed store targets.
• Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement through coaching and training.
• Manage retail operations, including stock control, store policies and procedures, staff scheduling, and tracking sales team performance.
• Deliver memorable customer service and exceptional product knowledge.
• Recruit, lead, and inspire your team to succeed in store.
