What you'll get up to:

As a Store Manager, you'll lead a team of Customer Service Representatives to provide technical sales advice and services to various agricultural customers. You will be tasked with improving the commercial performance of the store by building strong community relationships, increasing sales turnover and managing controllable costs. Basic financial reporting will be called upon regularly, so experience in this will be advantageous (however, specific training will be provided).

No two days will be the same, and as a leader, you will be across a wide range of store activities, such as coaching your team, budget management, store presentation, stock control, new business development and health & safety.

Our wish list of skills and experience:

  • Leadership, management & sales skills, preferably in a retail environment
  • Strong administration, written and verbal skills
  • New Zealand agricultural sector knowledge or experience
  • Strong administration skills and a high level of oral and written communication
  • Experience with inventory management and store financials would be a plus
  • A full, current NZ driver's licence.
