Job summary

Interior Fittings in Rotorua is seeking a detail‑minded Stone Fabricator to join our benchtop team. You’ll fabricate stone benchtops with wet cutting, polishing, radiusing and mitres using hand tools and machinery, and assist with machine operation.

We offer a full‑time permanent role, with potential for extra hours if helping with install; there’s plenty to learn and a clear career path for reliable, practical people. Pre‑employment health screening is required.

Qualifications

• Must have high attention to detail and enjoy precision work.
• Able to read a tape measure accurately and use hand tools.
• Driver's licence is ideal or preferred.

We're searching for someone with a high attention to detail, who enjoys precision work and wants to start / continue their career in the stone industry!

The Role:

Fabricating (wet cutting, polishing, radiusing, mitres) stone benchtops using hand tools and machinery.

Assisting with machine operation

Full time permanent role (more hours if helping to install), however we'd consider flexible working such as 4 day weeks.

About you:

You're keen to learn stone fabrication as you've always enjoyed work where the detail matters.

You'd say you're a logical thinker, who can read a tape measure and has experience using hand tools.

Drivers licence ideal.

You’d describe yourself as reliable, honest and generally an all round good person.

We've achieved the highest accreditation by the NZ Engineered Stone Association Group - which means we're operating at the highest health and safety standards in engineered stone fabrication.
