Join us for the busiest and brightest time of year, help make Christmas magical in the stockroom. We’re looking for reliable, customer-focused team members to bring the festive cheer!

The Warehouse is the home of Christmas, a destination for our customers to find everything they need for an affordable and special Christmas. But we need extra team members to help make that happen.

We’re looking for fixed-term seasonal Team Members to come join us. Start dates vary from mid-October to mid-November and you’ll be with us until around mid-January. Many of our Christmas Team Members have progressed into roles throughout The Warehouse Group, so this role could be your stepping stone for longer term and wider opportunities!

Te kaupapa o te tūranga – About the role

As a Stockroom Team Member, you'll be the driving force behind ensuring our stock is organized and ready for sale. Your meticulous attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a tidy and efficient stockroom will be key to our success.

Candidates with F endorsed or full New Zealand driver's license are preferred as operating a forklift is a requirement of the role. A current forklift license is advantageous to the role.

Your responsibilities will include the following:

  • Ensuring all stock received is processed appropriately and within the appropriate guidelines.
  • Ensure the stockroom area is swept and maintained.
  • Manage palettes and stock being delivered appropriately using a forklift.
  • Processing recycling and other waste correctly.
  • Adhere to health and safety standards.
  • Understand the importance of positive team dynamics.

You'll also understand the importance of teamwork and will contribute to positive working relationships with our Shopfloor and Fill teams.

To excel in this role, you ideally have:

  • Interest in stockroom coordination
  • A current forklift license
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail
  • Physical capability to handle heavy lifting, climb ladders, and stand for extended periods
