Merchant 1948 is a New Zealand Family owned and operated footwear retailer who has been around since, you guessed it, 1948. We are a household name and a trusted source of premium leather footwear for all occasions.

The role

As a Stock Coordinator and Keyholder, you'll be passionate about all things stock related, have great attention to detail and want to grow your retail career with us.

Reporting to the Store Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting your team to achieve exceptional results and create great experiences for our customers. Organisation, having a solution focus and logical thinking will come naturally to you.

This role is based at our Merchant1948 Dunedin store. We are seeking a flexible individual who can occasionally adjust their schedule to provide coverage when needed. This role will involve a combination of Stock Coordination and Selling shifts.

The regular working hours for this role Monday 8:30am-4pm, Tuesday 9:30am-3pm, Wednesday 9:30am-6pm, Thursday 10:30am-6pm and Friday 8:30am-2pm with minimum 32 hours per week.

Ideal candidates will have the ability to adapt to changes in their rostered hours as required, and flexibility to occasionally cover shifts on weekend days if required.
