The Higgins Green Team in Wairoa has permanent, full-time STMS opportunities available. Join our Traffic Management Crew and play a key role in delivering safe and efficient traffic management solutions across the region.

As a crew lead you will design and implement TMPs, oversee a small crew, and ensure safety, records, and smooth operations. You’ll work a 40-hour week, Mon-Fri 6am-6pm, with additional hours as required.

Formación

• Safety-first attitude toward self, team, and public.
• STMS with Cat A / Cat B practising warrant.
• Proven experience in the traffic industry.
• Experience leading a crew is desirable.
• Ability to work on call / night work.
• High level of physical fitness for the role.

Responsabilidades

• Design, adjust, and implement traffic management plans.
• Oversee and execute temporary traffic management duties to safeguard the public and site personnel.
• Coordinate and delegate tasks to crew members.
• Maintain accurate daily records and report incidents.
• Provide training and guidance to staff.
• Safely control traffic and maintain equipment.

The Higgins Green Team in Wairoa has multiple permanent, full-time STMS opportunities available. Join our Traffic Management Crew and play a key role in delivering safe and efficient traffic management solutions across the region.

About the role

In this role you will be leading a small crew you will oversee and execute temporary traffic management duties, safeguarding the public, site personnel, and traffic flow. You will enjoy a work schedule of at least 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday between 6am-6pm and have the flexibility to work additional hours/days as required.

• Design, adjust, and implement traffic management plans
• Ensure compliance with safety measures and TMPs
• Coordinate and delegate tasks to crew members
• Maintain accurate daily records and report incidents
• Provide training and guidance to staff
• Safely control traffic and maintain equipment

What you’ll bring to the role

• A safety-first attitude – for yourself, your team, and the public
• STMS with Cat A / Cat B practising warrant
• Proven experience in the traffic industry
• Experience leading a crew is desirable
• Ability to work on call / night work
• A high level of physical fitness due to the physical nature of the role
