Ideal candidates will have healthcare cleaning experience, be detail-oriented, and capable of working shifts, including evenings and weekends, to maintain a sterile environment and support patient care.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a cleaner in a healthcare facility (hospital, clinic, aged care) or sterile environment.
• In-depth knowledge of infection control principles and standard precautions.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform specialized cleaning and disinfection procedures in healthcare settings (wards, clinics, operating rooms, laboratories).
• Adhere to infection control standards and dispose of biohazardous waste properly.
• Utilize cleaning equipment and approved chemicals to ensure sanitation and sterilization.
• Maintain detailed cleaning logs and records for all areas serviced.
