The opportunity – Te tūranga

In this brand-new role in our Revenue team, Sports & Enterprise Partnership Lead you will lead the Sports partnership strategy, supporting the TVNZ Revenue team by representing TVNZ in market for excellence in Sports Sponsorship, Integration and thought leadership solutions for major Sports partnerships as well as delivering all Sport solutions.

We are looking for someone to play a key leadership role in TVNZ’s Sports Project teams, including PayTV, to have fully informed and collaborated GTM strategies ready for market.

This is a 12-month fixed term contract.

  • Lead the Sports partnership strategy, supporting the TVNZ Revenue team by representing TVNZ in market for excellence in Sports Sponsorship, Integration and thought leadership solutions for major Sports partnerships as well as delivering all Sport solutions.
  • Play a key leadership role in TVNZ’s Sports Project teams, including PayTV, to have fully informed and collaborated GTM strategies ready for market.
What we’re looking for

To excel in this position, we seek individuals who are highly motivated, resilient and disciplined individual, curious to test and learn new approaches to sport and general enterprise partnership, digitally savvy and comfortable developing and owning the entire sales and relationship function. You need to think outside the box.

  • Macro market understanding, with experience providing insights to inform and develop sales strategies.
  • Highly developed selling and negotiation skills.
  • 10+ years’ sales experience with strong commercial acumen in both media, advertising and general enterprise.
  • Ability to solve difficult problems through probing and analysis to reach effective solutions.
  • Strong communication and presenting skills, in both written and verbal form.
  • Collaborate with a diverse range of people to achieve business goals.
  • Dedicated to providing the highest product and services that meet the needs and requirements of internal and external customers.
  • Demonstrate high levels of integrity, trust and honesty.
  • Apply pragmatism and a balanced view when faced with conflicting demands.
  • Effectively sources, analyses and applies relevant information and intelligence to create mutually beneficial solutions. Actively shares information and knowledge with own and other teams.
