Job summary

You will share lived experience to help clients from diverse backgrounds, educate families, and assist with timely tasks under therapy staff to promote community reintegration.

Qualifications

• Experience working with diverse social and cultural backgrounds.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with patients and whanau.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong time management and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Establishing rapport with patient and whanau to have open conversations to share experiences
• Providing education and resource, where appropriate, to the client and their family/whanau
• Prioritising, organising and managing the tasks / interventions as requested by therapy staff
