Due to roll growth in our Outreach Services, Mt Richmond Special School is seeking an experienced specialist teacher skilled in working with students with intellectual disabilities.
This position will start at the beginning of term 3, 2025.
The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and is passionate about supporting students in the Ongoing Resourcing Scheme (ORS) in mainstream schools. The special needs outreach teacher works as part of the student’s support team, which includes their class teachers, MOE Special Education staff, support staff and family/whānau.

The base salary range for trained and registered teachers is dependent on the applicant’s qualifications and experience. An individual’s actual base salary will be established by a salary assessment once a role is confirmed. (See Part 3: Remuneration in the 2022-2025 PTCA collective agreement.)
