Job description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated colleague to join our busy, high performing NHS Grampian Radiology team.

NHSG Radiology Department provides imaging services to approximately 620,000 people living in Grampian, Orkney and Shetland. NHS Grampian is in an exciting phase of modernisation of which Radiology is key. The Board are investing £120 million for the Baird Family Hospital which will bring together maternity, gynaecology and breast services on one site along with The ANCHOR Centre which will provide outpatient and day-patient treatment for patients with cancer and blood disorders. Radiology is also scheduled to benefit from significant investment through the Patient Treatment Centre and is a key component to the NHS Grampian Major Trauma Centre. Regional planning is also underway through aligned national and regional programmes of work.

We are looking to appoint a candidate who will be a member of the Woodend X-ray department team in Radiology and the MRI departments of NHS Grampian. The candidate should have a good working knowledge and a proven interest in MRI would be desirable. Training support will be provided. This post involves 7-day working and various shift patterns.

Successful candidates will be educated to degree level in Diagnostic Radiography with current registration in HCPC.
