Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora Southern in Dunedin seeks an experienced Sonographer to join the Radiology team in a permanent full-time role. You will perform ultrasound across general, vascular, paediatric and obstetric areas and assist with interventional procedures alongside Radiologists.

The role requires NZMRTB registration, a current Practicing Certificate, and a patient-focused, team-oriented approach.

Qualifications

  • Qualified, patient-focused sonographer registered with NZMRTB and hold a current Practicing Certificate.
  • Competency in te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori, with willingness to engage Te Tiriti principles in care.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative radiology environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform ultrasound across general, vascular, paediatric and obstetric exams.
  • Assist with interventional procedures alongside Radiologists.
