About the Role

As a Sonographer, you will provide a safe and efficient ultrasound service in the clinical environment completing full examinations andrecommending techniques for patientcare.

This is a casual role where the hours are on anas-as-needed basis. The Start and Finish times are between 8.00AM to 5.00PM, Mondayto Friday, working rostered and rotating shifts. No on-call is required.

About you

As a Sonographer, you will have:

  • Some experience in general, vascular, upper abdomen,obstetric, gynaecologic, and musculo-skeletalareas
  • NZ registration and a current annual practisingcertificate in Ultrasound.
  • Excellent technical skills and knowledge.
  • Well-developed communication, critical thinking skillsand a commitment to family centred care.
  • Be capable of working independently and within a smallteam.
  • A strong commitment to quality healthcare.

You will also be versatile and able to adapt to aconstantly changing environment.

The successful candidate must be eligible to work in NewZealand or hold a valid NZ visa at the time of applying.
