Job summary

Prospero Health & Social Care currently seeks experienced Sonographers for permanent roles in New Zealand. You will work in modern clinics, performing diverse ultrasound examinations across general, MSK, obstetric and vascular imaging, alongside Radiologists and fellow Sonographers.

Qualifications

• Registered MRTB or eligible for registration in New Zealand.

We’re partnering with a well-established diagnostic imaging provider with multiple sites across Auckland, currently expanding due to sustained demand. They are looking to appoint experienced Sonographers into permanent roles, offering flexibility, stability, and strong long-term career prospects.

The Opportunity

You’ll be based in modern, well-equipped clinics, working alongside experienced Radiologists and Sonographers in a collaborative environment. The role offers a varied caseload across general, MSK, obstetric and vascular imaging, supported by strong clinical leadership and efficient systems.

Key Responsibilities

You will take ownership of a diverse caseload while maintaining high clinical standards. Responsibilities include:

• Performing a wide range of ultrasound examinations
• Working closely with Radiologists to support accurate diagnosis
• Maintaining clear and accurate clinical documentation
• Delivering a high standard of patient-centred care

About You

You’ll be MRTB registered (or eligible for registration in New Zealand) and bring experience across multiple ultrasound modalities. You’ll be confident working both independently and within a team, with a practical, patient-focused approach.
