Solutions Architect - Critical Communications

Our client is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect - Critical Communications to join their team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end architecture of critical communications solutions, with a deep focus on P25 narrowband radio products. You will drive the technical vision for products from inception to commercial release, ensuring they are scalable, robust, and secure.

Core Competencies
  • Solution Architecture: You have a strong background in designing and developing scalable, robust architectures for critical communications solutions. You have an expert knowledge of the P25 standard and have experience taking narrowband radio products from inception to commercial release, including requirements, development, testing, and certification. You will focus on maintainability, quality, and security throughout the architecture design process.
  • Strategic Vision: You have experience defining a 3-5 year technical vision for products and guiding stakeholders to turn that vision into actionable plans, considering resources and budget constraints.
  • Collaboration and Communication: You have a proven ability to collaborate effectively with product management, engineers, and other teams to translate customer requirements into actionable designs. You will act as a key liaison between customer needs, product directives, and engineering teams.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: You have excellent analytical skills and can identify technical challenges to provide innovative solutions. Your strategic thinking and decision-making will help align architectural designs with product and company goals.
  • Adaptability and Continuous Improvement: You can adapt to changing project requirements and have a mindset focused on continuous improvement, enhancing processes and fostering technical innovation.
  • Customer Focus and Product Care: You have experience caring for a product throughout its lifecycle, ensuring it meets market needs and customer expectations. You will gather and incorporate customer feedback to drive improvements.
