Job summary
Ministry of Justice – New Zealand, Wellington, is seeking a Solution Architect to shape Te Au Reka and advance the digital case management service. Joining the Digital Design Team, you will own the solution architecture for the future service and support Phase 1 go-live, working with vendors and stakeholders to ensure a smooth deployment.
You will lead design across platforms, align Te Au Reka with the current CMS, and guide coexistence through multiple releases.
Qualifications
- Proven experience delivering enterprise solution architectures.
- Experience with cloud/SaaS platforms (AWS, Azure, Dynamics 365).
- Understanding of legacy systems and modernisation strategies.
- Knowledge of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and public sector context.
- Experience in NZ civil/public sector is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Develop and evolve solution architectures for Te Au Reka.
- Collaborate with programme architects and delivery teams for platform design.
- Provide architectural leadership across development, operations and releases.
- Ensure alignment between Te Au Reka and existing CMS during coexistence.
- Build trusted relationships with stakeholders, vendors and technical teams.
