Job Details

This position is located in Auckland, New Zealand, and does not support remote working. Candidates must attend the Auckland office every working day.

Responsibilities
  • Analyse support-requests and identify software solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and technical issues.
  • Design, code, test, and debug software applications.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality and best practices.
  • Write and maintain clear, concise documentation for software applications.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or STEM topic (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) OR multi-year experience in Software support & development.
  • Proficiency in the programming languages SQL, .NET (C#) and VB Scripting.
  • Familiarity with team-development practices and version control systems, such as Azure DevOps.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and clean coding practices.
  • Good communication skills and customer-focus in supporting our end-users.
Nice to Have
  • Passion for life-sciences such as Chemistry and Microbiology.
  • Experience with web development frameworks (e.g., C# Razor, Core).
