A humanitarian organization in Masterton is seeking a Social Worker Manager to lead the Pathways to Settlement program. This position involves managing a team, coordinating refugee resettlement activities, and building community networks. Ideal candidates will have a social work qualification and a deep understanding of the refugee process. Competitive remuneration includes a total package of $92,221.13 to $118,569.94 based on experience.

This role falls under the social work pay equity framework and offers a total remuneration package (including base salary and employer KiwiSaver contributions) ranging from $92,221.13 to $118,569.94. Your placement on the pay scale (Category 4, Steps 9 - 15) will depend on your years of experience as a Social Worker. Please note, this amount is pro-rated based on a 37.5-hour work week.
About the role – Kōrero mō te tūranga
Lead our Pathways to Settlement programme, making a lasting impact in the lives of former refugees. You’ll manage a small dedicated team and play a key role in supporting refugee resettlement in our community.
As a Senior Social Worker, you’ll ensure safe practices, oversee client support, and develop social and settlement services in Masterton. Additionally, you'll build strong networks with community providers and streamline referrals to mainstream services.
