Job summary

Feilding High School seeks an innovative, collaborative teacher to lead our Year 10 Social Studies programme and contribute to curriculum design and teaching-team leadership.

The successful applicant will join the Social Science HOF and TIC Year 9 Social Studies, overseeing development and delivery of our junior social studies programmes.

Please state senior teaching specialisms; Geography, Senior Social Studies, Tourism and NZ History are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Experience in curriculum design for Year 10.
• Experience leading teaching teams.
• Ability to mentor staff.
• Ability to track and use student achievement data.

You will be joining a supportive, forward-thinking and highly collaborative Social Sciences faculty.

A willingness to contribute to our school extra-curricular programme is expected.

Duties to commence at the start of the 2027 academic year.
