About the role

As a Roaming Assistant Manager for Snap Fitness, you’ll provide support, and work alongside our gym managers to help run, develop and nurture a positive and influential environment. Your manager and yourself will be at the forefront of cultivating a culture that puts people first. One that encourages members to back themselves and believe in themselves every time they walk through your doors. You’ll learn the skills to operate a business day to day, advance and grow a strong team and execute positive initiatives to advance and progress the gym. You’ll develop strong people and communication skills that will advance your marketing and sales talents while reaping benefits for you both as a career but also financially if targets are achieved.

In this role, you’ll assist with the club’s end-to-end success, including:

  • Collaborate with your manager and team around local marketing opportunities and social media content on a week to week basis.
  • Help maintain and uphold healthy standards for all members in the gym (cleanliness, maintenance, OH&S)
  • Administration work including but not limited to reporting, budget planning, contractor invoicing etc.
  • Contribute to recruiting, training, developing and managing PT contractors to create a high performing team, and in line with Policies & Procedures
  • Support the management and drive the performance of the club
  • Develop strong relationships with new people each day and learn about them and their story
  • Provide a safe environment for people to grow and develop physically and mentally.

Must have Qualifications

Minimum Certificate III in Fitness or the ability to attain an equivalent qualification. No fitness qualification? We have you covered, you will be able to attain a basic fitness accreditation with us.

Current First Aid certificate and CPR (or higher qualification).

Must have appropriate police/working with children check.

Tertiary qualifications in health, business or commerce or strong business acumen and demonstrated experience in a similar environment (e.g.: fitness, retail e.tc.) will be highly regarded.
