Job description

Finishing Carpenter

Join a specialist crew building high-spec tiny homes and cabins in the outer suburbs of Tauranga. We’re after 3–4 experienced finishing carpenters who take pride in quality craftsmanship and can hit the ground running. Immediate start available for the right candidates.

Location: Outer suburbs of Tauranga
Start date: Immediate start available
Pay rate: $34 wages / $42 contract per hour

Key duties:

  • High-quality interior finishing (architraves, skirting, window and door frames)
  • Kitchen carpentry work, including cabinetry and detailed finishing
  • Bathroom installations including showers, toilets, and fittings
  • Installation of trim and mouldings with a focus on precision
  • Framing and fitting interior elements to plans and specifications
  • General carpentry duties with a high standard of finish
  • Ensuring all work complies with building codes and standards

Requirements:

  • NZ trade qualification in Carpentry (or equivalent experience)
  • Ability to work from plans and instructions with minimal supervision
  • Self-sufficient, dependable, and confident working independently
  • Own tools and reliable transport required
  • Must provide recent work-related references
