You’ll be joining a collaborative, well-resourced team — working alongside a Project Manager and another Site Manager based on-site, ensuring the project runs smoothly through all phases of delivery.
About the Project
A large-scale commercial development valued at $20M, this project offers variety, complexity, and visibility. You’ll be managing on-site operations, coordinating trades and subcontractors, maintaining safety standards, and driving programme outcomes, with support from a structured and proven management framework.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day site activities to ensure safe, efficient, and quality construction delivery
- Drive programme outcomes through effective planning, scheduling, and coordination
- Lead and motivate site teams, subcontractors, and apprentices to achieve best performance
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality (HSEQ) standards
- Liaise with the Project Manager on progress, forecasting, and cost control
- Maintain clear communication across all project stakeholders, fostering a proactive and professional site culture
- Oversee QA processes and ensure documentation via Procore or similar systems
- Support site setup, logistics planning, and material procurement as required
About You
- Minimum 5 years’ commercial Site Management experience in New Zealand
- Trade qualified (carpentry preferred) with sound construction knowledge
- Proven track record managing mid-to-large scale commercial builds ($10M+)
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Proficient with site-based software and digital QA systems
- A solutions-focused operator who takes ownership and leads from the front
