Job summary

Hick Bros Civil Construction is seeking a Site Engineer to work with the Project Manager, Site Supervisor and site team on civil projects around Auckland.

You'll gain exposure across earthworks, drainage, roading, utilities and more, across land development, energy and infrastructure. You will help deliver projects on time, to programme and to budget while developing QA and commercial awareness.

Qualifications

• Experience in civil construction projects is required.
• Ability to work with project managers and site teams.
• Adaptable to on-site conditions and QA processes.
• Willingness to learn and contribute to programmes and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Project Manager, Site Supervisor and site team to complete projects from start to finish
• Get exposure across earthworks, drainage, roading, utilities, services, retaining walls
• Direct and monitor physical works on site
• Manage QA processes
• Review plans and develop programmes alongside the project engineer
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, to programme and to budget
• Develop skills in commercial aspects of contracts such as programmes, claims, H&S and QA
