As a Site Coordinator at Skills Group, you’ll be the heartbeat of our training site—creating an environment where vocational learners can thrive and kaiako (tutors) are set up for success.

From welcoming new learners to keeping the wheels turning behind the scenes, this is a hands-on role that’s all about manaakitanga, operational excellence, and helping people grow.

Job Description

This role is for you if:

  • You’re solutions-focused and able to juggle tasks across administration, logistics, and compliance.
  • You thrive on supporting others and keeping things running behind the scenes.
  • You enjoy working in a team and making a real impact on learners’ success.
What You’ll Be Doing

  • Providing administration and operational support to delivery teams.
  • Being a point of contact for learner issues, including wellbeing and conduct matters.
  • Supporting learners with access to technology and maintaining a safe and tidy learning environment.
  • Supporting attendance tracking and communicating with whānau as needed.
  • Ensuring appropriate site materials and equipment are available and maintained.
  • Coordinating facilities, contractors, and ensuring rooms are ready for delivery.
  • Monitoring and maintaining Health & Safety compliance, including incident reporting.
  • Ensuring resources and equipment are stored and secured appropriately.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to relate to and support learners from diverse backgrounds.
  • Basic IT and digital skills, and a willingness to learn new systems.
