Our Network Services team is on the lookout for a Signals Technician based in Auckland. In this role, you will maintain, install, repair, and restore signalling assets across our network, ensuring operations run safely and reliably. Working under the guidance of the Leading Hand Signals Technician, you’ll face new challenges daily, often responding to emergency faults and carrying out preventative maintenance. This is a dynamic, fast-paced role where problem-solving and initiative are celebrated.

You will work rotating shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and nights, and be part of a supportive team committed to excellence and safety.

We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, mechanical aptitude, and a passion for learning. To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • New Zealand electrical registration as an electrician or a relevant trade certificate
  • Practical mechanical skills and an eagerness to learn
  • A safety-first mindset with the ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Strong teamwork skills and reliability under pressure
  • A willingness to attend emergency callouts outside of normal hours
  • A Class 1 driver's licence with the ability to gain a Class 2 licence
