Job summary

Rotorua Mitre 10 MEGA is seeking a Showroom Specialist to deliver exceptional customer experiences from initial contact through to project handover. You’ll work with our Design Team and Stakeholders to identify opportunities, advise on products and services, and develop accurate briefs for Designers and Coordinators.

You will manage appointments, nurture leads, and build lasting relationships with customers, designers, suppliers and installers while driving showroom sales and project values.

Qualifications

• Customer‑focused showroom professional with strong communication skills and a proactive approach.
• Experience in home improvement retail or design environments is advantageous.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming customers and creating inspiring showroom experiences.
• Consulting with customers to understand goals, lifestyle needs, budgets and timelines.
• Generating and managing project opportunities across kitchens, bathrooms, wardrobes, laundries, and more.
• Providing expert advice on products, services, and project solutions.
• Developing accurate project briefs for Designers and Coordinators.
• Managing customer appointments, follow‑up, and project handovers.
• Building relationships with customers, designers, suppliers and installers.
• Identifying opportunities to increase project value through complementary products and services.
• Supporting business growth through exceptional service and sales conversion.
