Job summary

Tradestaff is seeking an experienced High-End Shopfitter to join Auckland teams working on premium commercial fit-outs, luxury retail spaces and high-spec interior projects.

You will install cabinetry and joinery, read architectural drawings and ensure flawless finishes. Immediate start, full-time hours with ongoing opportunities on premium projects. Must have 5+ years' experience and own tools.

Work alongside established tradespeople and commit to health and safety on every site.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in shopfitting or joinery.
• Carpentry or joinery qualification preferred.
• Experience on luxury retail, commercial or premium residential projects.
• Excellent finishing skills and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Own tools and reliable transport.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Two recent work references.

Responsibilities

• Complete high-end shopfitting and interior fit-out installations.
• Install custom cabinetry, joinery, shelving, counters and display units.
• Construct and install partition walls, ceiling panels and architectural features.
• Work with premium materials, ensuring exceptional finishes and precise detailing.
• Read and interpret architectural drawings, plans and specs.
• Carry out detailed finishing work, including trims, fittings and fixtures.
• Use hand and power tools to measure, cut, assemble and install materials.
• Collaborate with other trades to ensure high-standard project completion.

Tradestaff is looking for an experienced High-End Shopfitter to join established Auckland companies working on premium commercial fit-outs, luxury retail spaces, and high-spec interior projects.

Pay Rate: $35–$40 per hour (depending on experience)
