Overview

Neptune Pacific Direct Line (NPDL) is experiencing a period of significant transformation. Formed in 2020, Neptune Pacific Line acquired Pacific Direct Line, bringing together two of the South Pacific’s top shipping and logistics companies to support the full supply chain of our customers in the region. NPDL is part of The Wonderful Company headquartered in Los Angeles, CA. Its other companies include FIJI Water, JUSTIN and Landmark Vineyards, Wonderful Citrus, Wonderful Pistachios, Teleflora, POM Wonderful and Suterra.

Responsibilities
  • Conducting thorough inspections of shipping containers to identify damage and determine repair requirements.
  • Producing accurate and efficient repair estimates in line with industry standards.
  • Ensuring all repairs are completed in a cost-effective and timely manner to meet operational deadlines.
  • Collaborating with our team to ensure seamless container operations.
Qualifications
  • Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring every container is inspected with precision.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to meet depot targets and timelines.
  • A methodical and sharp mind capable of generating accurate repair estimates.
  • The ability to work independently with a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.
  • Flexibility and reliability to adapt to the needs of the business.
  • Ability to pass Ministry of Justice, ACC checks, and a drug and alcohol test.
  • Prior experience in a similar role is highly desirable, but training will be provided.
Hours, Location and Requirements

Hours of Work: You’ll work a minimum of 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with shifts between 6:00 am – 6:00 pm. We also offer the opportunity for overtime, with great overtime rates at time and a half.

This is a full-time permanent role based in Auckland. You will have the right to live and work in New Zealand at the time of applying. The successful candidate may be subject to undergo a Police Check and/or Pre-Employment Drug Test.
