ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a seasoned and strategicSHEQ Manager to lead our Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality function within our Auckland-based Facilities Management contract. This is a pivotal leadership role, responsible for driving SHEQ performance, ensuring compliance, and fostering a proactive safety culture across diverse operational environments.

As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will:

  • Provide strategic direction and expert advice on SHEQ matters to internal stakeholders and clients
  • Lead and mentor a team of SHEQ Business Partners and operational leaders, enhancing capability and embedding best practices
  • Oversee incident investigations, ensure regulatory compliance, and continuously improve SHEQ systems and plans
  • Represent Ventia in client engagements, demonstrating credibility and thought leadership in SHEQ matters

You are a confident and experienced SHEQ professional with a proven track record in high-risk industries such as infrastructure, construction, or facilities management.
