Job Description

We’re looking for a skilled and experienced Sheetmetal Fabricator, with press brake experience, to join our Assembly team at our Hamilton site. In this hands-on role, you’ll help manufacture and assemble Air Handling Units, ensuring the highest quality and precision to meet engineered designs and specifications.


Your role:

Reporting to the Production Foreman from 7:30am - 4pm, you’ll be part of a larger team of production workers responsible for a variety of tasks, including:


  1. Fabricating parts using technical drawings, hand and power tools, sheet metal machines, and welders where applicable.
  2. Performing sub-assembly and assembly work.
  3. Conducting quality assurance checks to maintain high production standards.
  4. Packing completed products for dispatch.
  5. Carrying out onsite work and maintenance tasks as required.
  6. Maintaining housekeeping duties in line with Temperzone BEST and 5S systems.
  7. Flexibly working across all production areas to provide coverage and support other assembly functions as needed.

Qualifications

You will have experience and skillsets in the following:


  1. 1 – 3 years in manufacturing industry is ideal.
  2. Experience with press brake machines for metal work, cutting, and bending.
  3. Ability to understand drawings specifying length and diameter.
  4. Computer literacy for programming machines.
  5. Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and dimensions.
  6. Strong understanding of safe work practices.
  7. Good team player with reliable attendance.
