A local early childhood centre in Taranaki seeks a motivated session facilitator for one session per week. This position involves guiding activities and facilitating child-led play. Candidates must hold a relevant qualification for licensing and a current first aid certificate. A passion for Playcentre and commitment to supporting whānau are essential. This is a permanent role during school term time only.

Te Whānau Tupu Ngātahi o Aotearoa - Playcentre Aotearoa, is a well known and loved early childhood organisation with over 80 years of supporting parents to take the lead in their children’s learning through play. Playcentre operates 400 playcentres throughout the country.
Toko Playcentre is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic session facilitator to join our well-resourced and vibrant playcentre community for one session per week. You will work alongside our members and tamariki to guide session activities, facilitate learning using child led play and positive guidance. You will be a hands-on team member who encourages others to thrive; you will model playcentre philosophy and good practice while supporting whānau to gain confidence to have a go themselves.
Thursdays 9am–1pm, 4 hours per week. This is a permanent position, during school term time only.
