About the role

Christians Against Poverty (CAP) is entering a new season of change, and we’re looking for an experienced Services Trainer to help bring our refreshed services to life. This newly created role is a fixed-term position for 18 months. As the Services Trainer you will be instrumental in shaping the learning journey of our Services Department. You’ll lead the development, design, and delivery of training initiatives to strengthen the skills, competencies and overall effectiveness of the team.

Key areas of responsibility include:

  • Develop, design and facilitate best practice industry training
  • Equip staff and volunteers with resources and tools to outwork their roles
  • Collaborate and build strong relationships with internal and external teams
  • Coordinate and organise training and events as required
  • Provide reporting and auditing of training processes as required

  • Well-developed coaching and mentoring skills

  • Proven experience galvanising a team towards new ways of working
