Fulton Hogan Ltd in partnership with Tiaki Wai seeks a Serviceperson Water for Rongotai to maintain water assets, install and repair connections, and ensure a reliable water supply across the Wellington region.

The role offers overtime/on-call earning, a supportive team culture, and opportunities to upskill within the water sector, including a pathway toward Connexis Infrastructure works qualification.

Qualifications

• Experience in the water industry; able to use hand tools, small plant and machinery.
• Ability to use iPad/tablet to record information.
• Commitment to health and safety in the workplace.
• Full, clean Class 1 driver’s licence; endorsements (Class 2/W/T/F) advantageous.
• First Aid, Confined Spaces, and Working at Heights certificates beneficial.
• Reliable, hard-working attitude; willing to overtime and rostered shifts.
• Willingness to complete further studies toward Connexis qualification.

Responsabilités

• Install and repair water connections on mains of various sizes.
• Flush and charge water mains.
• Work with teams and contractors to achieve results.
• Maintain health and safety standards on site.
• Flexible for overtime and rosters including shift work/on-call.
