Job summary

New Zealand Trade and Enterprise (NZTE) is seeking a Workflow & Automation Specialist to design, support and enhance ServiceNow workflows and our grants platform, with options in Auckland or Wellington. You will help streamline how work gets done by leveraging automation and engaging with stakeholders across NZTE.

This role sits in the Digital & Data team, delivering practical improvements that improve user experience and efficiency through services like ServiceNow and related platforms.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years' ServiceNow experience in an Administrator/Developer role.
ServiceNow certification or willingness to obtain within 12 months.
Experience configuring and improving workflow, low-code/no-code platforms.
Exposure to Microsoft Power Platform, Power Automate and SaaS integrations.
Strong troubleshooting and stakeholder engagement skills.
Continuous improvement mindset to enhance user experience.

Responsibilities

Configure, develop and maintain ServiceNow workflows and platform capabilities.
Support NZTE's grants platform including workflow improvements and vendor engagement.
Investigate and resolve tickets, platform issues, integrations, upgrades and testing.
Scope, design and implement workflow improvements with stakeholder input.
Ensure changes consider security, data quality, risk and user experience.
