Job summary

Emerge Aotearoa is seeking a Service Manager to lead EaseUp, a mobile youth service in Onehunga focused on rangatahi with mental health and AOD challenges. You will provide leadership across the service to ensure safe, responsive and high-quality support aligned with whānau needs.

The role requires professional registration, a minimum of 6 years in MH and addiction services with leadership experience, and strong collaboration with schools and health providers.

Qualifications

• Full professional registration and a current Annual Practising Certificate (APC) under the HPCA Act 2003.
• Minimum of 6 years' experience in mental health and addiction services, including at least 1 year in a leadership or management role.
• Strong knowledge of youth mental health and addiction practice, including clinical risk assessment and management.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and developing high-performing staff.
• Must hold First Aid certification, including CPR, or be willing and able to complete this.
• A full, clean New Zealand driver licence.

Lead a passionate team supporting rangatahi to access timely, responsive mental health and AOD support in their communities.

We have a Service Manager opportunity leading EaseUp, a community-focused mobile youth service based in Onehunga. EaseUp supports rangatahi (young people) aged 12-24 experiencing mental health and alcohol and other drug (AOD) challenges. In this role, you will provide leadership across the service, ensuring safe, responsive, and high-quality support that helps rangatahi and whānau (families) work towards their goals and aspirations.

You will:

• Lead clinical practice across the service to support safe and effective outcomes for rangatahi.

You will bring:

• A minimum of 6 years' experience in mental health and addiction services, including at least 1 year in a leadership or management role.
• Strong knowledge of youth mental health and addiction practice, including clinical risk assessment and management.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and developing high-performing staff.
• Must hold and maintain First Aid certification, including CPR, or be willing and able to complete this.
