Napier City Council is delivering a Service Enablement Programme to improve systems, processes, and ways of working that support our people and community. The Service Enablement Lead will coordinate a portfolio of transformation initiatives, provide structure and momentum, and enable informed decision-making from planning through to implementation.
You will monitor progress, manage stakeholders, risks and budgets, and deliver clear reporting to governance groups.

As our Service Enablement Lead, you'll play a pivotal role in coordinating and delivering this programme. Working across multiple business areas, you'll ensure projects remain on track, workstreams are aligned, risks are actively managed, and programme objectives are achieved. You'll bring structure, oversight and momentum to a diverse portfolio of transformation initiatives, supporting leaders and project teams to successfully implement meaningful organisational improvements.
This role is about keeping complex programmes moving. You'll monitor progress, coordinate stakeholders, manage competing priorities, track budgets, risks and dependencies, and provide clear reporting that enables informed decision-making. We're looking for an experienced programme or project management professional who thrives on coordinating complex programmes, bringing people together, and ensuring projects are delivered successfully. You're organised, solutions-focused and enjoy working with a wide range of stakeholders to keep work progressing.

This is a fixed term til Dec 2027, full time opportunity working 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday. You will be based in Napier.
The annual salary package for this role is $107,375 - $120,008 (including KiwiSaver), with the final offer depending on your skills and experience.
