Job summary

NWT is hiring a Service Deli Assistant to join our friendly team in Wellington. You will perform deli duties including slicing, cooking, prepping and cleaning to keep the department operating smoothly while delivering outstanding customer service.

This full-time role runs Tuesday to Friday from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm and Sunday from 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm (37.5 hours). The store offers perks and a supportive workplace with convenient transport access.

Position

This is a full-time position working Tuesday - Friday 7:00 am - 3:00 pm and Sunday 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm (37.5 hours). Preference will be given to applicants with experience in the food industry.

Applications will be reviewed as they arrive, and interviews conducted as soon as possible. Please note we do not have on-site parking. However, the train and bus stations are a 5min walk from the store and coupon parking is available in various surrounding streets around the store.

Applicants must hold New Zealand citizenship, New Zealand Permanent Residency, or a Valid New Zealand Work Permit.
