Job summary

New World Ilam in Christchurch is seeking a motivated deli team member to join our busy service deli. You will focus on sandwich making and the production of savoury products, delivering great customer service in a fast-paced environment.

We value a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and the ability to work well with others. This is a permanent role, with hours 7am-3.30pm, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday.

You'll be joining a large, supportive deli team dedicated to producing high-quality products and delivering outstanding customer service. We're after someone who's ready to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in. This role will be focused on sandwich making and production of savoury products.

Key Responsibilities

• Following all Food Safety and Health & Safety procedures, including temperature checks and cleaning records
• Ensuring the Deli department is kept clean and tidy

Hours

• This is a permanent role working Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday 7am-3.30pm (32 hours).
