Job summary

CHEP is seeking a Service Centre Manager to lead the Penrose Service Centre in New Zealand. You will guide a large, diverse team to deliver safe, high-quality operational performance and develop leaders across the site.

You will drive continuous improvement, work closely with maintenance for reliability, manage site planning and budgets, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance while modelling CHEP values.

Qualifications

  • Experience leading large operational, manufacturing, logistics or supply chain teams.
  • Strong commitment to safety leadership and creating psychologically safe workplaces.
  • Ability to influence, coach and develop people at all levels.
  • Experience driving continuous improvement initiatives and operational change.
  • Strong commercial acumen and experience managing budgets and site performance.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

We're looking for a Service Centre Manager to lead our Penrose Service Centre. This is an opportunity for a people focused leader who is passionate about creating safe, inclusive, diverse, high performing teams and delivering exceptional production outcomes for customers.

As the leader of our largest and most complex operational site in New Zealand, you'll play a key role in shaping culture, developing talent, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring our people go home safe every day.
