Job summary

Orbit, SkyCity Auckland, located in the CBD, seeks a senior waiter for its iconic rotating-dining venue. The role is based at SkyCity and involves delivering premium food and beverage service to guests with a focus on guest satisfaction.

You will coach colleagues on the floor and support new staff to maintain high standards. You should have at least 2 years in hospitality and 1 year as a waiter or in a la carte service, with strong wine knowledge and the ability to confidently pair wine with

Responsibilities

This senior waiter role is based in Auckland’s busy CBD and will offer 40 hours per week paying $29.00 - $32.00 per hour dependant on experience. You will be responsible for delivering high quality food and beverage services to customers through the use of excellent guest service practices and the delivery of efficient and timely food and beverage services, providing an overall excellent experience to restaurant patronage. You will also oversee designated sections during shifts, providing on-the-floor coaching as needed and supporting new wait staff in delivering quality guest service.

You will have at least 2 years hospitality experience and 1 year waiter or a la carte experience, good knowledge of wine and be able to confidently pair food and wine and excellent communication skills.
