Job summary

Ministry of Social Development NZ in Wellington seeks a Senior Advisor to lead strategy and reporting within the Transformation Programme. You will provide senior guidance across transformation initiatives from design to implementation, influencing governance and delivering high-quality data-driven insights.

You will work in a fast-paced, collaborative team, shaping approaches across service delivery and ensuring alignment with Te Tiriti o Waitangi commitments, with a focus on practical outcomes

Qualifications

Proven experience contributing to transformation or change programmes, service design, or the implementation of projects or initiatives.
Ability to work across multidisciplinary teams to manage interdependencies and align design, delivery and implementation.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality advice, guidance and analysis to support transformation initiatives from service and design through to implementation and transition into business as usual.
Prepare data, insights and analytical reports that inform decision-making, performance, monitoring and continuous improvement.
Identify and assess risks, issues, dependencies and constraints, and develop effective mitigation strategies.
Contribute to stakeholder engagement activities that build understanding and commitment.
Support junior colleagues by sharing specialist knowledge and building capability.
