Job summary

Fulton Hogan Ltd in Auckland seeks an experienced Temporary Works Coordinator to join the Civil Construction team in Ranui. You will link design, delivery and site teams, ensuring temporary works are managed from design through to dismantle with safety and compliance at the forefront.

The role requires a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil/Structural) with 5+ years in civil engineering, familiarity with falsework and design coordination, and professional membership advantages.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering in Civil/Structural engineering.
• Minimum 5+ years of practical civil engineering experience in major infrastructure.
• Membership with Engineering NZ or equivalent is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of temporary works design coordination and permit controls.
• Proactive approach to maintain standards and safety.

Responsibilities

• Implement and enforce the Temporary Works Management Procedure across the project.
• Establish and maintain the Temporary Works Register with design status, inspections, and permits.
• Coordinate temporary works activities among site teams, designers and contractors.
• Prepare clear design briefs capturing loads, site conditions and sequencing.
• Ensure risk categorisation, inspections and permits are properly managed; stop non-compliant work.
